Vental is a tricky tem to use correctly due to its lack of priority moves, poor physical bulk, and lack of powerful Mental techniques both offensively and defensively. It makes up for this by snowballing its special attack with Spiritual, or being a nice special tank with Arcane Wrap.

Vental is one of the most powerful mental tems in the game at dealing out of the box, up-front special damage. Spiritual-boosted Beta Burst and Unseen Blow are difficult to resist and deal a ton of damage. The hard part is keeping Vental alive.

This TV spread decides not to care overmuch about staying alive through processes that aren't destroying Vental's enemies. Vental lacks priority, but can absolutely terrorize slower teams with Unseen Blow and Beta Burst. Psy Surge helps for stamina efficiency, and Sacrifice offers Vental the chance to move some value onto an ally before it would have been erased from the battlefield.

Electric Custodians can help pseudo-protect Vental from Thunder Strike users, bonus points if they're equipped with Redirection Device. Earths like Rhoulder, Vulffy and Garyo can pressure electrics and crystals that threaten Vental.
